Nova Launcher version 3.3 allows users to have a lollipop style drawer. I will show here the settings for the most similar to stock Android lollipop drawer. Lets get into it.
Note: You should have Nova Launcher installed on your device and set as the default launcher. I have Nova Launcher Prime installed on my device.
First up, go to Nova Settings. it can be found on your drawer. It can also be found by using the menu button on your home screen.
Next, go to drawer
Select Show pages as Cards. this option makes the icon of the drawer and the transition from home screen to drawer similar to the android lollipop.
Now we will hide the tabs that appear on top of the drawer. to do that go to tab style and select small tabs.
In android lollipop, drawer menu action icons that appear on the top right of the drawer (on previous versions like Jellybean and Kitkat) are non existent. to do that go to menu actions (still under the drawer settings). and uncheck all.
if you follow those steps you will now have a similar to stock android lollipop drawer.
now to take things up a notch. some things in the lollipop drawer are changed. like widgets are no longer in the drawer. i will show you how to remove the widgets.
the next steps are for the PRIME VERSION ONLY. I suggest you to buy the prime version because of the features that come with it.
Go to Nova Settings and go to Drawer
Go to drawer groups
Click the pencil beside the widgets
Click on the 3 dots aligned vertically on the top right
Click delete
Now the drawer tabs are no more
There you have it. the end product should look like this
Now there are a few more tweaks here and there like changing the scroll animation to none. its up to you if you want to do those things.
*Miscellaneous*
If for whatever reasons the app drawer icon does not change to lollipop, do the following.
Tap and Hold the drawer icon. (the circle thingy at the bottom middle of the home screen)
Click Edit.
Tap on the icon beside apps.
Click the White Circle Icon. This is the icon that resembles lollipop drawer icon.
Now click the check mark and your done!
